Automated Antibody Purification and Buffer Exchange Using Protein A and SizeX150 IMCStips® on the Opentrons Flex®
High-quality antibody preparation requires both efficient purification and effective buffer exchange, but conventional workflows are often time-consuming and inconsistent. IMCS has developed validated, automation-ready methods that combine Protein A IMCStips® for selective IgG capture with SizeX150 IMCStips® for rapid buffer exchange and small molecule removal. Implemented on the Opentrons Flex®, these methods deliver >80% recovery and >95% purity in a streamlined workflow that minimizes operator time while supporting flexible throughput. By reducing complexity and ensuring reproducible results, these methods enable laboratories to achieve formulation-ready antibodies faster and more reliably than manual approaches.
